Picnic club, hyde park - week 2
Picnic Club has arrived for the Spring school holidays! Two Wednesdays of picnic rugs, food to share, and easy connection under the trees.
School Holiday Picnic Club ☆
Date: Wednesday 8th October (Week 2)
Time: Arrive from 9:45am - until whenever you need to leave
Location: Hyde Park, East end (exact location here). Look for Village Social sign
Bring: A plate of food to share & your picnic rug
Bring a rug, bring a plate to share, and settle in. The kids will do what kids do, and the rest of us can enjoy a slow morning in good company!

Playground Morning, Iluka
Join us for a relaxed morning at Sir James McCusker Park, Iluka. Bring a picnic rug, let the kids play, and enjoy a chance to connect with other parents
There’s no pressure and no schedule - stay as long or as little as you like. It’s simply a chance to meet new people, share some conversation, and build your village.
Come as you are — most people arrive on their own, and that’s exactly what Village Social is for.

Walk Club, Wembley ☆
Join us for a refreshing midweek walk around Galup Reserve ☆
This easy 3.5km loop is pram and bike friendly, making it perfect for little ones to come along. We’ll meet near The Acai Corner van at 9am before heading off at 9:10am — and if you’re running late, you can always tag on at the North end.
After the walk, stick around for an optional coffee/picnic 💛

Route: Easy 3.5km loop around Galup Reserve. Meet near The Acai Corner Van (meeting spot linked)
Pram-friendly & bike-friendly for little riders
If you’re running late, you can meet us at the North Lookout and tag on (carpark is onsite). Just message me @village.perth and I’ll keep an eye out for you
Come on your own or bring your little ones too - totally up to you!

Picnic Morning - Floreat playspace
By request, Village is heading to the Floreat Beach Playspace for a weekend meetup.
Bring a rug, grab a coffee from the kiosk, and settle in while the kids play. This one’s all about parents connecting — no pressure, no agenda, just an easy way to build your Village on the weekend.

Picnic morning - mount hawthorn
(Postponed to Friday, 12th Sept due to wild weather on Friday 5th Sept)
Bring the kids along for a relaxed morning at the playground. Pack some snacks, bring a picnic rug, and enjoy an easy chance to connect with other parents while the kids play.
This playground is best suited for ages 2y+ but little ones of all ages are always welcome.

Playground Morning at Mokare Reserve
Join us at the beautiful Mokare Reserve Adventure Playground, Mandogalup, for a relaxed morning of play and connection.

PARKING: Street parking, or at New Ground Coffee Cafe
COFFEE: New Ground Coffee (across the road from the playground)
Bring a picnic rug, snacks, and let the kids explore while you connect with other parents. Come solo - thats what Village is for! Or feel free to bring a friend.

Village x Picnic and Play!
We’re teaming up with Picnic and Play for a special Village gathering at the beautiful Multicultural Gardens. Expect a morning of simple, nature-inspired play for the kids, while parents have the chance to slow down, chat, and connect.
DATE: Tuesday 9th September
TIME: 9:30am - until whenever you need to head off (Picnic and Play runs for 1 hour)
LOCATION: Multicultural Gardens, North Perth
TICKETS: $26 (siblings $9)
PARKING: Free street parking onsite
COFFEE: Closest cafe is the gorgeous Stomp Coffee, down the road
NOTES:
Picnic and Play is a beautiful nature-inspired play experience for young children, offering thoughtfully set-up play stations like sensory trays, water play, playdough, music, and crafts on picnic rugs. Check out their Instagram here.
Bring a picnic rug and anything your little ones might like for morning tea.
Village is built on the idea that it takes a village for us as much as for our kids. So alongside the play, there’ll be a simple, (introvert-friendly 🤭) icebreaker to make it even easier to connect.
